Peace and blessings. I named this project "The Tape Scientist" mostly because during the creative process, I found myself exploring and utilizing more aspects involving cassette tape media than ever before. From 4-track cassette recording, to creating and sampling from tape loops of my own construction. I added lots of reverse-function playback, tape echo, etc. And as always, plenty of one-take recording and effects. I got waist-deep in the mud, and made myself comfortable there. I settled into levels of compression and saturation that I don't think I'd ever previously dabbled in so consistently. There's a richness to the overall sound of the album that I'll now aspire to add to every subsequent project, going forward. This music breathes, slithers and crawls its way into your ears. Let it wrap itself around you and live inside you. Let its warmth radiate throughout your body.

It's more than a beat tape. Cassettes coming soon tho.
